The Counseling umbrella is a mental health counseling private practice, committed to helping clients & community engage around mental health issues.

The Counseling Umbrella was founded by Alli Swift, a Licensed Professional Counselor, here in Portland, OR. The foundation of this counseling practice is to provide a safe space for anyone who is needing support in navigating themselves, their edges, their fears, their hopes & their perspectives. Nothing is off limits when you come into this office, and you will be met with an open heart & mind.

The Office & Services

I work out of a cozy office space that ensures your confidentiality and comfort. For speaking engagements, we are happy to travel around the greater-Portland Metro Area & beyond to come in and provide specialized presentations for your work, school, community.

• Speaking Engagements:

  We travel to you! Together, with my husband Seth Altshuler (who also happens to be a counselor), we create presentations, groups or trainings on a series of mental health topics. • Workshops:

  A rotating series of ‘candid conversations’ for parents, couples, or individuals on a variety of topics relevant to mental health.
